The Italian Women of Faith Network is in the process of being formed. The Network has organised several activities including a recent conference on Women and Public Engagement: A Faith Perspective at the Pontifical University, Urbaniana on 18 April 2013. Speakers included Musdah Mulia, Research Professor of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), Chairperson of Indonesian Conference on Religion for Peace, Indonesia , Tova Hartman Professor of Gender Studies and Education, Bar Ilan University of Jane Adolphe,  Professor at the Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida (USA) and Bharti Tailor member of the European Council of Religious Leaders.
